opportunity for an experienced Utilities Coordinator to join our team.
The su! ccessful applicant will be office based in Aberdeen with regular site visits required. They will be
responsible for ensuring that multiple commercial and residential construction projects are provided with
all utility services in a timely, efficient and cost effective manner.
Responsibilities
Main responsibilities will include:
Build relationships and liaise with all stakeholders including service providers and project
teams
Coordination of utility installation timings with construction programs which will include the
installation of all main utilities services, sub-stations, gas governors & utility diversions
Hold regular meetings with all stakeholders to ensure trouble free and timely installations
Advise the technical design team of any design restraints due to updated policies or interfacing
issues
Identify current services and their locations and plotting them on an auto cad drawing
Organize the isolation and disconnection of services to! existing sites
Reporting to the Design Manager, your role will involve liaising with the Technical department
and you will be required to support Project Managers to ensure that projects are delivered
within budget and timescales
The Candidate
You should have a strong background in a similar role and should be qualified to HNC (or
equivalent) in an Engineering discipline
You also should be fully compliant with the use of AutoCAD
A basic understanding of Water, telecomm, Electricity and Gas supplies for new development
is required.
