ONSHORE COMPETENCE ASSESSORS - CONTRACT â€" ABERDEEN
Operations + Maintenance experience in an assessor capacity
Our Client, a Major Oil and Gas contractor is seeking Onshore Competence Assessors for their Aberdeen office.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
The requirement to hold an
A1
or
D32
/33 Qualification is preferred! . Experience in the role of maintenance technician in the Oil and Gas Industry or similar process industry is preferred with experience of training. A background in Mechanical and/or Instrumentation will be required.
Ability to work unsupervised.
Must have good communication skills and report writing ability.
The role requires computer literacy and the ability to use most Microsoft packages.
Must be able to review the assessment methods available and provide solutions to carry out the role in the most safe and efficient way
JOB SCOPE:
The Workplace Assessor will carry out assessment of technicians in accordance with client guidelines. This will include on site assessment and collation of appropriate reports. Successful applicant will be required to work an agreed rotation of 12 hour days. The applicant may be required to work nightshift.
The purpose of the role is to carry out assessment of technicians in the ! workplace to a predetermine competence assurance standard.
Reporting directly to the Competence Assurance Services Manager and liaising with the client’s HR representatives. The primary function of these positions is assessment of technicians by:
